Tyne first broke through in 2017 with his single Watch You Go, a deeply personal track exploring the loss of his father that resonated for its balance of grief and hope. Released through Dew Process, it gained strong support from triple j and brought him national attention, while encouraging open conversations around loss and healing. He followed with the more upbeat, rock-driven Graceful, signalling an evolution in his sound and leading to sold-out tours and high-profile supports for acts including Jake Bugg, Lime Cordiale, and Middle Kids. His 2019 EP Persevere cemented his growing momentum.
By 2021, Tyne had become known for powerful vocals and emotionally honest songwriting. His debut album Necessary Evil reflects this range, moving between introspective acoustic moments and bold, guitar-driven tracks, while continuing to explore themes of grief, resilience, and passion. The album and its singles, including Not Ready for Love, further expanded his audience internationally.
Backed by strong live performances and appearances at major Australian festivals, Organ has steadily built his reputation through hard work, striking stagecraft, and a clear gift for heartfelt songwriting.
